| Using special fabrication techniques, developed in-house, the quartz pedestals fabricated by Petrus have excellent dimensional accuracy and repeatability. |  | Quartz tubes of up to 450 mm in diameter and 3 meter in length are welded and processed on a glass lathe, using specialty designed and built quartz glass burners. Experienced and highly trained workers are responsible for achieving the best possible results in this field. | 
| Quartz glass could be machined into various odd shapes using special diamond tools. Machining is done on sophisticated CNC machines which were specially adapted to serve this purpose. Petrus can also handle quartz ingots of up to 450mm in diameter and further cut these ingots into flat material in the form of discs, flanges and plates. |
